All students from Latin America (including Central and South America), applying for a WMG Master’s course to begin September 2024, will automatically be entitled to a tuition fee discount.
Partnership awards
- The University of Warwick has partnership agreements with several Latin American funding bodies. Candidates being sponsored through any of these schemes will receive the tuition fee reduction outlined in our agreement, instead of the WMG tuition fee bursary.

WMG Bursaries for Latin American Students
All students from Latin America (including Central and South America), applying for a WMG Master’s course to begin September 2024, will automatically be entitled to a £8,000 tuition fee discount
Bursary holders may also be considered for a WMG Excellence ScholarshipLink opens in a new window (for the chance to receive up to 50% tuition fee discount).

The University of Warwick has partnership agreements with several Latin American funding bodies. Candidates being sponsored through any of these schemes will receive the tuition fee reduction outlined in our agreement, instead of the WMG tuition fee bursary.
Mexico: CONACYT
- The University of Warwick has an agreement with CONACYT through which Mexican students in receipt of CONACYT funding receive a 30% tuition fee discount.
Mexico: FUNED and Fiderh
- University of Warwick has an agreement with both Funed and Fiderh through which Mexican students studying on a full-time MSc at WMG in receipt of Funed or Fiderh loans will benefit from a special 50% discount on tuition fees.
Colombia: Colfuturo
- The University of Warwick has an agreement with Colfuturo, through which Colombian students studying on a full-time MSc at WMG and awarded the scholarship-loan will benefit from a special 50% discount on tuition fees.
Students studying at other Warwick departments (not WMG), with the support of Colfuturo, will benefit from a 20% discount.
Colombia: ICETEX
- The University of Warwick has an agreement with ICETEX, through which Colombian students studying on a full-time MSc at WMG and awarded the scholarship-loan will benefit from a special 50% discount on tuition fees.
Guatemala: Guatefuturo
- The University of Warwick has an agreement with Guatefuturo, through which Guatemalan students studying on a full-time MSc at WMG and awarded the scholarship-loan will benefit from a special 50% discount on tuition fees.
Students studying at other Warwick departments (not WMG), with the support of Guatefuturo, will benefit from a 20% discount.
Honduras: Hondufuturo
- The University of Warwick has an agreement with Hondafuturo, through which Honduran students studying on a full-time MSc at WMG and awarded the scholarship-loan will benefit from a special 50% discount on tuition fees.
Students studying at other Warwick departments (not WMG), with the support of Hondafuturo, will benefit from a 20% discount.
Chile: ANID
The University of Warwick has an agreement with ANID through which Chilean students in receipt of ANID funding receive a 20% tuition fee discount.
Requirements for University of Warwick WMG Bursaries for Latin American Postgraduate Students Qualification
- Students must have an offer to study on one of the WMG full-time MSc courses, starting September 2024.
- Students must be classified as overseas fee payers and be a national of a Latin American country (including Mexico, Central and South America).
- Students should be self-funded or part-funded.
- The bursary will be reflected your CAS for visa application purposes.
- Where a special arrangement is in place with a specific funding body, i.e. Colfuturo in Colombia, the higher reduction will be awarded. Multiple discounts cannot apply.

Interested and qualified? Go to University of Warwick on warwick.ac.uk to applyPlease ensure you submit your scholarship application within four weeks of receiving your offer. If successful, your scholarship will supersede your bursary. Two WMG awards cannot be given to the same student.
