Position Summary: 

The ICT Intern plays a crucial role in the support and technical assistance of the IR 2 E-Learning Team, aimed at enhancing the experience of CPD Blended Learning users (teachers). Under the direct supervision of the ICT and e-learning program specialist The ICT intern will perform key responsibilities include ensuring timely completion of activities within the uploaded chapters, maintaining fidelity in the implementation of the learning cycle, and providing ICT support to the CPD Blended learners (teachers).

Responsibilities and Activities:

Support IR 2, 3 –

  • Work with the e-learning specialist to troubleshoot ICT issues which CPD blended learners are experiencing.
  • Document regularly all the issues that CPD blended learners are encountering.
  • Work with the e-learning specialist to monitor the activity completion on the REB e-learning platform.
  • Assist the e-learning specialist to organize online meetings with ICT focal teachers to level up their ICT skills.
  • Assist in troubleshooting Content Access Points
  • Contribute to preparing program presentations by supplying analyzed data in form of graphics, etc.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Advanced Diploma in a relevant subject (e.g., Computer science, Computer engineering, Information Communication Technology, Electronics and telecommunication, etc.)
  • Knowledge on web-based application
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting procedures and documentation
  • Ability to learn quickly good communication skills, both verbal and written, including listening skills and the ability to build trust and credibility in the communities.
  • Willing to travel to project sites and sometimes work during odd hours.
  • Knowledge on research methods
  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data analysis and collection, especially treatment of surveys
  • Willing to travel to project sites and sometimes work during odd hours.
  • Committed and proactive self-starter
  • Good writing and communication skills in English; fluency in spoken Kinyarwanda and French
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office
