Applications for the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship (GOI-IES) for 2025/26 have now open on 27th November 2024.
The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship for non-EU/non-EEA students in Ireland.
There are 60 places awarded across all Irish Higher Education Institutions each year including international students enrolling at the University College Dublin.
Eligibility Requirements for UCD Government of Ireland Scholarship 2025
To be considered for the UCD Government of Ireland Scholarship 2025, you must:
- Be an international non-EEU/non-EEA student.
- Be enrolling in the following for 2025-26:
- 1-year taught Masters programme (full time)
- 1 year of a PhD programme (full-time)
- Hold an offer to study at UCD. Scholarship applications without an active offer to study in an eligible program will not be considered.
- Be eligible to pay non-EEU/non-EEA tuition fee rate.
