Job Summary

A Chief Information Officer (CIO) who is both experienced and visionary is required to oversee our technology strategy and IT operations, thereby fostering innovation and digital transformation. As CIO, you will be pivotal in enhancing our network infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity, and delivering exceptional customer experiences through advanced technology solutions.

Key Performance Areas

  • Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy to support business growth.
  • Oversee IT operations, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
  • Lead the adoption of emerging technologies to optimize network performance and services.
  • Manage cybersecurity programs and ensure compliance with telecom regulations.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with vendors and technology providers.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing IT team, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement the telecom operator’s IT and digital transformation strategy to support business objectives.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and adopting emerging technologies like AI, IoT, cloud computing, and 5G to enhance network performance and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the CTO and other departments to align IT initiatives with overall business and technical infrastructure goals.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company’s IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Lead the modernization of legacy systems, ensuring seamless integration with new technologies and business processes.
  • Establish a robust data management framework to improve decision-making through advanced analytics and actionable insights.
  • Drive the development of customer data platforms and tools to enhance customer segmentation, predictive analytics, and personalized services.
  • Lead the company’s cybersecurity strategy, ensuring systems and customer data are protected from evolving threats.
  • Implement policies and controls to maintain compliance with telecom regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard operations.
  • Spearheaded digital transformation initiatives that optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve customer engagement.
  • Leverage technology to enhance the customer experience, such as through self-service portals, AI-driven chatbots, and omnichannel support platforms.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners to ensure cost-effective and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with business units and executive leadership to align IT projects with organizational goals.
  • Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Invest in upskilling employees to adapt to new technologies and methodologies, ensuring readiness for future challenges.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support strategic initiatives.
  • Deliver measurable ROI on technology investments by prioritizing projects that drive growth and efficiency.
  • Ensure IT systems and processes adhere to telecom regulatory requirements, including data privacy laws and network security standards.
  • Develop governance frameworks for IT operations, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and strategic objectives.
  • Explore and foster partnerships with technology innovators to leverage industry advancements.
  • Act as a thought leader, representing the telecom operator in industry forums and building relationships with stakeholders to maintain a competitive edge.
