POSITION: Project Coordinator (Part-time Job)
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- He/She Must have a minimum of Master’s degree in public health, project management, or a related field.
- Certificate in research ethics or related training is additional value
- He/She Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ of experience in project coordination, preferably in health research.
- Registration with a relevant professional body
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., REDCap, Excel, ODK, etc ).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda.
- Familiarity with ethical research practices and protocols is an asset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the implementation of the research project and ensure timely progress.
- Coordinate activities across study sites and manage the project timeline.
- Supervise data collectors and ensure adherence to research protocols.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including hospitals and the research team.
- Manage logistics for data collection, including tool distribution and participant follow-ups.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and obtain necessary approvals.
- Monitor data quality and integrity, addressing any issues promptly.
- Prepare progress reports and updates for the principal investigator and collaborators.
